Cleaning
TEAM provides a range of cleaning processes that have been approved for use in the aerospace industry. These processes cover basic cleaning as well as more advanced options such as three and four step heavy duty alkaline cleaning, cleanliness verification, steam cleaning, and passivation. Etching
At TEAM, we offer a variety of etching processes for our clients, including Macro Etch, Pre-Penetrant Etch, Anodic Etch, Alpha Case Removal, and Blue Etch Anodizing (BEA). BEA is a specialized and highly sensitive inspection technique and used specifically for detecting surface discontinuities and material defects found in titanium components, which may have been caused by machining and forging processes.
