Leak and Sealing Repair

Seal under pressure. Execute without interruption.

Leaks don’t just waste product—they drive up emissions, create safety risks, and chip away at operational reliability. TEAM’s on-stream leak sealing services solve these issues without shutdowns. Every method is non-destructive, preserving the integrity and extending the life of your equipment.

As the original innovators of online leak sealing and mechanical repair, we’ve tackled nearly every leak scenario imaginable. Our technical leaders actively contribute to ASME PCC-2 articles, helping turn our field expertise into industry best practices.

With the world’s largest inventory of leak-sealing flange clamps and piping enclosures, we’re ready to mobilize instantly for common geometries. For more complex applications, our global engineering teams spring into action—designing custom enclosures that can be rapidly machined in-house using 3- and 5-axis CNC cells or fabricated by ASME-qualified welders. All pressure equipment is built to ASME VIII Div. 1 standards, with FEA modeling per Div. 2 rules when needed.

Cast In-Situ Choking

Achieve resilience and avoid shock damage

Traditional chocking methods like solid rubber, wood, or plastic inserts are notoriously unreliable—prone to breaking, falling out, or not fitting properly from the start. Our advanced cast-in-situ choking system technology is engineered to deliver the resilience required to hold a conductor firmly in place, protect the guide from damage, and absorb shock forces to prevent further fatigue.

Unlike pre-formed alternatives, each chock is fitted on-site to exact specifications, eliminating the common challenges of poor fit and premature failure. The result? A tailor-made chock that fits perfectly, stays securely in place, and delivers the wear resistance, strength, and elasticity needed for a long-lasting, high-performance repair.

Capabilities:

  • Comprehensive fatigue analysis of conductor tubes and risers
  • Precise determination of chocking location and required load absorption
  • On-site manufacturing and casting of the chock to exact dimensions
  • Installation by certified, highly skilled technicians

Concrete Repair & Soil Stabilization

Restore strength. Reinforce the future.

Deteriorating concrete doesn’t just crack — it threatens safety, drives up maintenance costs, and risks environmental damage. TEAM helps you tackle concrete degradation head-on with proven repair strategies, high-performance materials and precision-executed methods that extend structural life and protect your operations.

Concrete Repair Methods

Structural Repairs

Cracks in concrete structures often stem from thermal expansion, settling, poor design, or improper curing during construction. TEAM offers specialized methods to restore strength to load-bearing and steel-reinforced concrete—safely and reliably.

Injected Method

We use two-component epoxies or urethane resins, injected or poured into cracks, to create strong chemical and mechanical bonds within the concrete—delivering weld-like durability from the inside out.

Spall Repair

Spalling caused by freeze/thaw cycles, ground movement, rebar corrosion, or construction flaws is repaired with epoxy-based mortars (with silica/aggregate), polymer-modified cements, or hydraulic blends—matched to each situation.

Overlays and Toppings

For surfaces degraded by scaling, chemical exposure, or heavy wear, we apply targeted overlays after preparing the surface through blasting, acid etching, and priming for optimal adhesion.

Expansion Joints

When original joints fail under unexpected shear or subsidence, TEAM installs new ones fast—minimizing downtime. We design joints using epoxies, tar epoxies, polyurethanes, polysulfides, silicone, EVA, and more to match site demands.

Leak stoppage

Active leaks in concrete or rebar are sealed on the spot using polyurethane grout or epoxy injection—preventing structural damage and costly shutdowns.

Soil stabilization

TEAM brings proven solutions to strengthen foundations and fill the gaps beneath your facility. We provide two techniques:

Chemical Grouting

We inject stabilizing compounds into the soil matrix to harden loose particles and increase compressive strength, create liquid barriers, isolate hazardous zones, or support added structural load.

Particulate Grouting

This method fills voids caused by erosion or water flow around foundations, slabs, or rock fissures — ideal for base stabilization, concrete leveling, and tieback reinforcement.

Coatings and Linings

Your facility’s storage vessels, both above and below grade, require back-up systems – protection against their contents or secondary containment in the event of their failure.

Capabilities

  • Epoxy, novalac, vinylester and polyester coatings
  • Corrosion-control polyurethanes and epoxy systems
  • Reinforced systems
  • LinersPolyureas

Welded Pipeline Sleeves

Repair corrosion, cracks and dents with confidence

TEAM’s welded Type B repair sleeves offer durable, cost-effective solutions for damaged pipelines. Designed for versatility and reliability and engineered to meet ASME PCC-2 standards with pressure ratings derived from ASME B31.8, these sleeves address a wide range of damage mechanisms. Whether you’re facing internal or external corrosion and erosion, mechanical damage or cracking and structural flaws, our welded pipeline sleeves replace uncertainty with total confidence.

Available with or without backing strip grooves, TEAM’s sleeves support client installation preferences. While grooves can simplify placement, they slightly reduce the sleeve’s pressure capability. If your sleeve wall thickness is known, sleeves can be ordered directly. If not, TEAM provides standard rating tables to guide selection (found at the back of our catalog). We also offer full, turn-key installation (including in-service welding and non-destructive testing) to ensure every repair meets the highest standards with no handoffs and a single PO.
